Katharina Elisabeth RUMPF
Katharina Elisabeth Rumpf is a technical officer at the WHO Regional office for Europe working on Migration and Health. Throughout her career, she held previous positions with a focus on access to health. This included roles at the WHO headquarters in Geneva, involvement in bilateral development cooperation during the Covid-19 pandemic in India, and gained valuable experience from a medical Non-Governmental Organization with a regional focus on the African continent.
Throughout the last year she has actively been involved in setting up the new Action plan for refugee and migrant health in the WHO European Region 2023–2030, adopted by the 53 Member States this fall at the Regional Conference in Astana, Kazakhstan. As the focal point for academic partners, she strives to strengthen intersectoral cooperation and joined research with the help of the WHO collaborative centers on migration and health.
