Aleksandar Stevanović (MD) is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, doing research in the field of public health. He is a teaching assistant at the Institute of Social Medicine, University of Belgrade. He is a member of the European Burden of Disease Network (EU Cost Action), the Global Burden of Disease Collaborators Network (Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation), and the Young Professionals Programme (ASPHER). Dr. Stevanović is a WHO-certified infodemic manager with a research focus on the burden of disease methodology, health literacy, and health inequalities. Within his work at the Institute of Social Medicine, he is engaged in bridging the gap between academia and practice and ensuring evidence-based health promotion.
