Zorunlu hizmetini Hakk\u00e2ri\u2019de yapt\u0131 ve bir s\u00fcre \u0130zmir Bergama\u2019da sa\u011fl\u0131k oca\u011f\u0131 hekimi olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 1989\u2019da \u0130zmir Konak Belediyesi Sa\u011fl\u0131k \u0130\u015fleri M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc oldu. 1995-97 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstit\u00fcs\u00fcnde hastane ve sa\u011fl\u0131k kurumlar\u0131 y\u00f6netimi \u00fczerine y\u00fcksek lisans yapt\u0131. 1997\u2019de Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Halk Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Anabilim Dal\u0131nda ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 halk sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 doktoras\u0131n\u0131 2002\u2019de tamamlad\u0131 ve ayn\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcmde \u00f6\u011fretim \u00fcyeli\u011fine atand\u0131. \u00c7evre sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alan\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ve bu alanda dersler verdi, \u00e7e\u015fitli makaleler \u00fcretti ve kitaplarda b\u00f6l\u00fcm yazarl\u0131\u011f\u0131 yapt\u0131.\u00a0 2016\u2019da Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi Halk Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Anabilim Dal\u0131ndan emekli oldu. Halen Ye\u015fil Gazete\u2019de haftal\u0131k k\u00f6\u015fe yaz\u0131lar\u0131 yaz\u0131yor, Alakarga isimli bir fanzine katk\u0131 veriyor.
