Selen Gürsoy
She was born in 1984 in Balıkesir. She graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. In 2009, she worked as the responsible physician in Bitlis Adilcevaz Göldüzü Health Center. In 2010-2013, she worked both at station and command control center of Trabzon 112 Emergency Health Services. In 2018, she received her expertise from Adnan Menderes University, Department of Public Health. Between 2018-2019, she worked as a specialist physician at Balıkesir Bandırma Community Health Center. At that time, she focused especially on the issue of vaccine rejection. In 2019, she was appointed to Trabzon Provincial Health Directorate and worked as a doctor in the Infectious Diseases Unit. She is currently manager of the Community Health Unit in Trabzon Provincial Health Directorate. She took part in the Provincial Pandemic Operation Center during the pandemic process. She is also a member of Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital Ethics Committee. Her areas of interest are infectious diseases, health literacy and health economics.
