Sabanur Çavdar
She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2010. Before PH specialty training, she worked as a general practitioner in the communicable diseases unit and family health centers in Kağıthane-İstanbul. After completing Public Health Specialization training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2011-2015, she worked at Ümraniye Community Health Center and District Health Directorate. In 2019, she managed various projects in Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate R&D and Projects Unit as unit manager. She participated in the dissemination of R&D culture in health, and innovation in the public sector. She still contributes to the coordination of public health services against COVID-19 pandemic in Ümraniye District Health Directorate; also works as a team member and researcher in EU Erasmus+ projects of the Provincial Health Directorate aimed at strengthening disadvantaged groups. She continues her thesis studies in Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Health Management doctorate program. Her primary areas of interest are health management and health economics.
