Mine Esin Ocaktan
She was born in Ankara in 1970. She has graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She has worked at primary health care centers between the years 1993 & 1998 in Kırıkkale and Ankara. She completed speciality education in 2002 at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health, while she started in 1998. She has worked as a specialist at the same department until 2008. She appointed as Assisstant Professor in 2008. She completed Occupational Health Doctorate at Institute of Health Sciences of Ankara University and took Ph.D. degree in 2009. She gained “Public Health Associate Professor” title in 2012. She appointed Associate Professor tenure on December 27th, 2013 and Professor tenure on February 13th,2018 in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health. Her main interest fields are listed as Basic Public Health, Occupational Health, Women Health, Disaster Management and Environmental Health.
She has been working as the Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator of Ankara University since 2017 and she is the head of Ankara University Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Committee. She is also acting as a board member of Research and Application Center Ankara University Social Policies and Migration Studies and School Social Services Unit.
She is also a member of Radiation Safety Committee, Employee Health Committee, Health of and Cebeci Hospital Emergency Planning Committee in Ankara University hospitals. She has been participating the trainings of occupational health and safety for employees since 2013.
She is the coordinator of Carrier Advisory Center and a member of Responsibility Project Commission, Advisory Surveillance Commission and Social Support Commission of Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
She has national and international publications, book chapters, invited speaker tasks, oral and poster proceedings, referee tasks and cites on Public Health and Occupational Health fields.
