Leyla Karaoğlu
She graduated from On Dokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 1987, worked as a general practitioner in Ordu and she worked at an urgent care clinic in Çankırı. In 1996, she completed his specialty education in İnönü University Faculty of Medicine and performed his compulsory service as the Director of the Mother and Child Health / Family Planning Department in Çorum. Between 1998-2009, she worked as a faculty member at İnönü University, where she received his specialty education, for about ten years. In 2009, she started to work at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. She has been the head of the department since she started working. She became Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2011. She had undertaken roles such as faculty board member, third / sixth years coordinator, clinical research / experimental animals ethics committee member. She gained experience as an observer for six-month at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and as a scholarship student at the Andrija Stampar School of Public Health for two months. She has published studies in the areas of community nutrition, violence, communicable and non-communicable diseases, school health, reproductive health, environment and occupational health.
