Gülsen Güneş
She was graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. She completed his speciality education in İnönü University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2000. In 2001, she studied for 6 months at University of Texas, School of Public Health WHO / PAHO Center for Health Promotion and Prevention Research. In 2006, she received the title of Professor at İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. Since March 2019, she has been working in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health. She was the Director of İnönü University School of Health, a member of the Faculty Board of İnönü University Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy of İnönü University, a board member of the İnönü University Women's Studies Research Center, and a member of the “Inonu University Scientific Research and Publication Ethics” Board. She served as a member of the National Tobacco Control Committee of the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Primary Health Services, and a member of the Board of Specialization in Medicine (TUK) of the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Education. For many years, she served as the instructor of the "Training of Trainers and Educational Skills" Course for Faculty of Medicine lecturers and took part in educational boards. Her areas of interest are Women's and Reproductive Health, Violence against women, Chronic diseases, Smoking control. She has many national and international publications in all areas of Public Health. She was a member of Malatya Provincial Health Directorate Tobacco Control, Chronic Diseases and Cancer Control. She took part in many meetings, panels and public trainings organized by organizations such as Municipalities, Police Department, Directorate of National Education, Non-Governmental Organizations in Malatya city. She has participated in Public oriented programs in local media organizations.
