Gamze Varol
She was born in Turkey in 1973. She graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In 2004, she completed his specialist education in the Department of Public Health of the same faculty. She worked in different positions at various institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health. She started to work in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University (NKU) Faculty of Medicine, Public Health Department as Assistant Professor in 2008. She became an Associate Professor of Public Health in 2015. She still works as Head of Department of Public Health Department at NKU. Her interest field is chronic diseases, environment and occupational health. She was the member of the administrative board members of The Association of Public Health Specialists on 2016-2018 period. Varol is the head of the Tekirdağ Medical Chamber now; and she is also member of the TMA Public Health Branch on the executive board and works in to The Right to Clean Air Platform as TMA representative.
