Emine Baran Deniz
Assistant Professor Emine BARAN DENİZ graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English) in 1998. She completed her medical specialty training in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health between 2004-2009. Afterwards, she worked as the Director of Infectious Diseases and Food and Environmental Control of the Kars Provincial Health Directorate, and later as the Head of the Central Community Health Center. She worked as a public health specialist in the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Promotion, between 2011-2017. After that, she worked as a doctor responsible for cancer registry at the Cancer Department of the General Directorate of Public Health for two years. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Kafkas University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. Health protection and promotion, noncommunicable diseases, health literacy and one health are among the topics of study. She is a Microbiology PhD student at the Kafkas University Institute of Health Sciences and is at the thesis stage.
