Burcu Küçük Biçer
After receiving the title of "Public Health Specialist" from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health in 2014, I was appointed to Kilis Provincial Health Directorate in order to perform my compulsory service. In 2016, I started to work as the Head of the Department of Public Health in the Faculty of Medicine at Yuksek Ihtisas University and continued this duty for two years. During this period, I worked as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Health Sciences in the opening of many graduate programs. I am working in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Education and Informatics since 2018. In 2014, I completed media communication program in Eskişehir Anadolu University. In 2014, I received training in cancer epidemiology and molecular biology at NIH in the USA. In 2014, I also studied the steps and analysis of the Global Burden of Disease study at IHME in USA. In 2015, I completed my training on cancer-related clinical research and epidemiology at IARC in France. I am one of the members of Health Sciences University Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital Clinical Research Ethics since 2014. Child health and diseases, tobacco, chronic diseases, medical education, health informatics and media-communication are my fields of study. I have been working on commercial sexual exploitation of children for ECPAT-Turkey since 2012 on a voluntary basis.
